How to write website copy that turns visitors into customers
You can have a beautiful website and still lose customers if the words don't answer their questions. Visitors decide in seconds whether you can help them. These rules make that decision easy.
1. Say what you do, for whom, and where
"Gel nails, braids and make-up in Durban North" beats "Welcome to our world of beauty". Be specific in your first line.
2. Talk about them, not you
Customers care about their problem. "Never miss a Saturday booking again" lands better than "We are passionate about excellence".
3. Answer the obvious questions
Price, location, hours, how long it takes, how to book. If people have to message you to find out basics, many won't bother.
4. Use proof
Reviews, before-and-after photos, client names and real numbers ("live in 7 days") are more convincing than adjectives.
5. Keep it short and scannable
Short paragraphs, clear headings and bullet points. Most people skim on their phones.
6. Always tell them what to do next
Every section should end with a clear next step: WhatsApp us, book now, see prices. Don't make people hunt for it.
Not a writer? That's normal. Copywriting is included in our Growth package and available as an add-on with the others.
