Know before you pump

A mobile app that shows live fuel availability and queue lengths at stations across KwaZulu-Natal, reported by drivers on the spot. Plan a route and see every station along it, check what's in stock before you leave, and earn FuelPoints for GPS-verified reports that keep the map honest.

Runnit Papermint product

Get anything, delivered anywhere

A request-and-delivery web app. Customers list the items they need with a budget for each, our runners source them and send a quote, and the customer pays online before delivery anywhere in South Africa. Behind it sit customer accounts, an admin dashboard for quotes and order status, and an ads manager.

DriverRate Papermint product

Know your lift-club driver

A rating platform for lift-club drivers. Commuters search by name, area or company and read reviews scored on punctuality, reliability, cleanliness and communication, and can flag high-risk drivers. Driver profiles carry routes, areas and vehicle photos; subscribers unlock contact details, with EFT proof-of-payment upload and admin approval behind it.

Everything your business needs

A long-scroll campaign page for the Special Economic Zone's brand evolution. Circular photo crops echo the brand's dot motif, then bold statements alternate with full-bleed photography of the logistics, agritech and data facilities, ending in an enquiry form.

Nzinga Group

Pools, cleaning and hygiene

A website for a Durban company that builds, renovates and maintains swimming pools, and runs upholstery, pest control and high-pressure cleaning teams. Before-and-after photos and films shot on site do the selling. The quote form opens WhatsApp with the customer's details filled in, ready to send with photos of the job.

Range manifesto and XCeed social

Two 30-second films introducing Kia's electrified range, with titles and supers animated to read cleanly over fast footage. Plus a 15-second XCeed story re-framed and re-timed for feed and Reels.

i30 N: Never just drive

A display campaign for Hyundai's N performance range. The 300×600 banner builds a five-frame argument: a provocation, the car, the offer and the warranty. The same system carries into the N Range web hero and newsletter.

Dear Santa: the IONIQ Christmas campaign

Two 15-second Christmas films. A child's letter to Santa slides into frame, listing the usual wishes, then a grown-up's hand adds one more in the margin: "and the IONIQ 5", or the IONIQ 6.

A 970×250 billboard for the V21 5G selfie phone. A collage opener leads into three feature frames, each pairing one lifestyle image with one camera feature.

60-second ad: green to crystal blue

A vertical ad that walks through the whole Nzinga offer, from cracked green pools to renovations, new builds and the R900 weekly care plan, and ends on a WhatsApp call to action. Animated type and before-and-after footage carried by a full voiceover and sound mix.

PUMPA Papermint product

Launch ad: drove all the way to the station...

A 26-second vertical launch ad for the PUMPA app. It opens on a wasted trip to an empty station, then shows a driver reporting at the pump, earning FuelPoints and checking the live map, before landing on "Know before you pump."

Mhlathuze Water

Water to our communities

Two 15-second films for the water and waste water utility, cutting between treatment works, field teams and the communities they serve, with bold kinetic type carrying the message to the logo end frame. Both films ran on digital billboards across Richards Bay.

Senzo Mthembu, founder

Papermint Group began in Durban as a brand development consultancy for local businesses. It has since grown into a studio that designs and animates campaigns for international brands, builds websites and systems for some of KwaZulu-Natal's biggest economic institutions, runs its own products, PUMPA and Runnit, and keeps local businesses' computers and software running.
